Smart, Simple, and Affordable Wildfire Defense for Your Property
In high-risk wildfire zones, protecting your property is essential. This innovative external sprinkler system delivers a simple, affordable, and highly effective fire defense, giving you peace of mind even in the face of wildfire danger.
How Wildfire Protection Sprinkler Works
Is your home or business in a wildfire-prone area?
Calstate Fire Defense offers an affordable, easy-to-install sprinkler system for homes, commercial, and public buildings. Designed for maximum protection, it can be concealed in new builds or retrofitted with exposed pipework.
Sprinkler heads are mounted to soak roofs and gutters, and create a water curtain that reduces heat and ember ignition. Installed by approved professionals, it's peace of mind when wildfire strikes.
Autonomous Controller with Remote Capabilities

The Calstate Fire Defense controller activates automatically based on user-set air temperatures (up to 140°F) and runs in timed cycles to deliver water during wildfire threats. It can also be controlled remotely via SMS, allowing up to five users to check system status, temperature, and battery levels and turn the system on or off.

An EVAC button lets you manually activate the system for up to 60 minutes before returning to Auto Mode—ensuring protection even when you’re away.
One of a Kind Sprinkler Design
Calstate Fire Defense sprinkler heads are uniquely engineered to perform in extreme wildfire conditions—especially high winds that drive ember attacks. Unlike standard butterfly sprinklers, our design eliminates the outer support frame, preventing the water stream from breaking into fine mist that’s easily lost to wind.
Instead, our system delivers large water droplets in a full-circle spray pattern, directed “out and down” like rainfall. This maximizes coverage, reduces wind loss, and allows up to 60% of the water to be recycled through downpipes into a supply tank. Add flow control inserts for optimal efficiency and consistent performance across every sprinkler.

Controller

Calstate Fire Defense systems are compatible with diesel, gas, propane, and electric water pumps. Our advanced controller automatically activates based on ambient air temperature—user-set up to 140°F—and runs in timed cycles to maximize efficiency during wildfire conditions.

The system repeats its cycle until the temperature drops significantly, and can send SMS updates* with status alerts. An EVAC Button lets users manually activate the system for up to 60 minutes before it returns to Auto Mode.

Performance & Features
This exterior sprinkler system can be installed during new construction or retrofitted onto existing buildings. It is commonly placed along the roof ridge, beneath the eaves, or along the soffits
The system can be activated automatically by low-voltage heat detectors, remotely, or manually by occupants before evacuating the home.
The primary function of an exterior fire sprinkler system is to saturate the building’s exterior and the surrounding area to help prevent fire spread.
